About Me

I’m Cindy. My background is in marketing, so I’ve spent a lot of time around the systems that connect brands, products, and people.

That means I understand why things look so good online.

I’m also still influenced by them.

But even though I know exactly how something is being marketed to me, I still think, Okay, but I kind of want it.

That combination is a big part of ILGO. I’m interested in what happens next: what actually works, what gets annoying, what survives ordinary life, and the things we’ve somehow all started doing without ever really stopping to ask why.

I talk about products, home, beauty, relationships, aging, comfort, internet trends, and the strange little rules of everyday life.

Basically, if the internet version and the real-life version aren't quite the same, I'm probably interested.
